Literacy Hour
This term's spelling words are taken from the National Literacy list of words. There are 157 words listed. The target is for children to be able to read each word in context, to be able to read each word out of context and to be able to spell them independently by the END of Year 2. We will work on these words daily as an integral part of our Language lessons.
Three new words for your child to learn will be placed on the front page each week day.
