We all know Scooby and
Shaggy love their food and they're here to take the stress out of
the 'Back to School' period providing healthy eating suggestions
for busy parents who want to provide their children with healthy,
nutritious, interesting food that kids will want to eat and parents
will find easy to prepare.
Your child's lunchbox
may be square but its contents needn't be. It's easy to add enough
taste, variety, excitement and nutrition to tempt even the fussiest
eater, why not let top dog Scooby-Doo and his best pal Shaggy show
you how!
Top Tips
1. Sandwiches don't
need to be boring, use pastry or play dough cutters to make fun
shaped 'Scooby Snacks'.
2. Change the bread that you use. The kids won't eat wholemeal?
Remember white wholemeal loaf is now available and pitta bread,
rolls and bagels all are viable alternatives to the traditional
loaf. Scooby's favourite is a hotdog, a finger roll filled with
a tasty savoury treat, rummy!
3. Did you know that Shaggy is one of the world's most famous
vegetarians? Pack that lunchbox full of meat free treats, dried
and fresh fruit, cereal bars, a vegetables and dips are great
snacks for kids who are always on the go.
